the denial part about friends hurting friends to such a degree i get, that clearly makes sense, but not about Guy teaching a justu to him and not them... that makes even less sense since knowing jutsu that others don't, even in your team, is key standard for ninja. even in the same teams since each member has strengths and weaknesses... every genin team is that way if you look at their skill sets with only very basic jutsu like transformation or substitution being standard for them all... and the 8gates is a forbidden jutsu... just like Kakashi teaching Sasuke chidori but not Sakura or Naruto... it's the character type and proficiency... even with Guy since he specifically trains them to their strengths to make up for their differences, teaching them things that the others don't know or making them more proficient in certain skill types to help balance them as a team.... tenten learns all the weapons and ranged skills... Lee gets physical attack based taijutsu training... and Neji gets defense and Chakra skills and literally hyuga training added to his arsenal...
