Is it just me or you speed up everything for couple of chapters? Seems a bit rushed in comparison

It's a good pace I think. Just chapters appear to be kind of short. But it is understandable and acceptable. The problem is the shortness of chapters with subjective slow pace might drive away some readers and become annoing in time (Eng is not first lang, sry)

(A/N: You guys feel like things are moving too slow, or is it a good pace? I'm trying to give my favorite characters decent screen time, so it ended up like this so far, but I'm just curious how it feels from a reading perspective. Reading something and writing something are two very different ball games, after all.)

The best out of 4, I think. Not too cruel and Issei is out of view.

3. Give Issei to the Grigori where he'll be Vali 2.0 just less powerful and ultimately, inconsequential (I had an amusing idea here, have him go to the Grigori and make him end up with Irina - I never liked her much anyway - but they couldn't have sex or anything because she was turned into an angel; so they would only be able to do the lewdest thing of all, hand-holding
