The tunnel is a double sword maneuver since their movement will be restricted but so will Terry's considering their size the kick or throw a punch he may not have the space to dodge since their feet and fists will take up a considerable amount of room .I would retreat and try to find some explosives and return

Simply take your time .I understand the need and rush to push the story out but you can really make your readers and fans disconnect from the story if there are a lot of errors .The human mind is capable of correcting some errors automatically as we read but not all of them or serious errors and when they pop up it causes a lot of people to have to reread the last sentence or so .So simply try to slow down a little bit and try to see the errors you have talent don't let it be ruined by rushing things .All great things take time or they are not really worth it

That's why you have a second line . Have 1k archers line up and then put another 1k behind those . Then instruct the front archers to kneel down while reloading so the second line can fire and if done correctly the first line should be done reloading by the time the second line starts reloading theirs
