Since you won’t use that design here, I’ll leave it up if others want to use it as well. If you have never played the Breath of Fire series, I would highly recommend, very good early 90’s JRPG series (ignore 5, not sure what they were doing with that one). BoF 1

Forgot to mention with Kushina, he was kind of living on his own in the forest before hand, before she passed out she instructs Hiruzen that MC will take care of her and Naruto. He is to move into the Uzumaki/Senju clan grounds.

Harem: Kushina - He’s six to eight when Kurama attacks (this version has a better relationship with Kushina, she knows he’s being controlled) and helps save her using healing magic (due to his death, he automatically gains healing, radiant and shadow genes) and his overwhelming strength. Maybe Minato splits the two halves between Kushina and Naruto. While she is healed, she’s in a coma for awhile. As such, MC takes care of Naruto as well. Mikoto - She survives the massacre due to MC and Kushinas intervention (when she awakens). She had twins with Sasuke and Satsuma, wrote up a marriage contract with Kushina between Naruto and Satsuma when they realized the genders. Maybe have Izumi survive as well. Hitomi - Hinatas mother. She survives as well since MC sniffs out a plot to kill her by an elder who wants his daughter to marry Hiashi to take over. Hiashi was drugged before, had an affair with the other woman, and she had a son. Forced to disown Hitomi and the two daughters, MC takes them in. MC is also the one to stop the kidnapping, but since he doesn’t kill the guythey can force Kumo on several fronts. MC’s strength also deters Kumo from responding. On the fence about the daughters being added, kinda like Naruto getting a mini harem of a few. Pakura, Karin’s mother, Haku’s mother, Yugito - MC regrets their pointless deaths for a bunch of bastards. I’ll get back to you with the reasons for Tsunade, Mei and any others that might need saving earlier on, this is just a start really. The ones above are the ones that die early in the series.

A character design I have been playing with for awhile is a reincarnated Irish good guy otaku, basically dies saving a bunch of innocents using his body as a shield, however part of it involves statues of Abrahamic, Celtic, Greek and/or Shinto godly figures that appear to be weeping over his death as they tried to save him from being crushed. Think statues falling in a weird way that also holds up the remaining debris from crushing him. While searching through the debris they find him like this. This imagery sparks a global resurgence of religion, but also a mixture of science. Like the religions are there to keep the science in check from going down the wrong path. However again due to plot (either his current job, things he’s known for doing, etc), the main message is simply be kind to others regardless. Really like that message from the Dr. Who series, just be kind. This resurgence empowers the dying Gods/Goddeses (they only draw power from their worshippers prayers) allowing them greater influence in the world. Maybe they start taking a more active hand in the world, like corrupted individuals start dying in what can only be described as divine ways to further cement the case. Maybe the above is a bit preachy there, but it’s to build the story and the core of the MC. In gratitude, they grant him a body that is a mix of Ryu from Breath of Fire 3 (loved most of the dragon forms) and Superman with a splash of Goku for fighting techniques and eventual God Ki. Bare minimum I would ask Ryu Dragon brood powers, I can’t find any recent ones that use him. The genes/gems for his powers are like materia, they grow naturally in specific places. Keep the originals and add a few like nature genes, storm gene, healing gene, etc (for whatever releases you want to use) once found they become part of him. Since this will be a harem, then add “Get Creative/Edit/Bestow” from Hidden Dungeon only I can enter, however instead of just LP, he can also use Ki/Chakra/Solar power. He’s not OP from the start, he builds it up with his creativity and body powers. Add a system for multiverse travel that he quickly lets his wives in on, no point hiding it with his crazy growth. I always hated that “I have to keep it secret” mentality when there are so many good ways to explain how he knows, Great Red from DxD is giving the info the the “creators” via their dreams, the Akashic Records, etc. As for the harem, he originally is not looking for one, however his first wife states he’s too much for one woman to handle (and the higher ups realize he has a bunch of inheritable powers), so they toss him in a CRA. Writing up the list as we speak, may take a day or two with how things are going. But here are the immediate ones for reasons given:
