why not create his own teleportation spell? he probably could relatively easily create a gate kind spell, after that somethings similar to apparition would be easy

His mind wanders to Dudley, his cousin's face flashing before his eyes. I can't just cut him off from the calming spell cold turkey, he thinks, sighing loudly. He's grown up with it, and he might not know how to handle strong negative emotions without it. He decides to gradually weaken the spell over time, allowing Dudley to slowly learn to regulate his own emotions. It won't be easy, but it's the right thing to do.

A week had passed since Lucas first successfully performed Legilimency on the grass snake. In that time, he had been diligently practicing, honing his skills and pushing the boundaries of what he could accomplish with the art of mind reading. The snake had become a constant companion, living in Lucas's cupboard and emerging only to hunt for mice in the garden. Lucas had quickly realized that the creature needed to eat, and he couldn't very well let it starve. So, he had taken to letting it out at night, allowing it to hunt and feed before returning to the safety of the cupboard.

little mistake here, the reason why it was "gone" when harry went there the first time was because the house was under a fidelius charm, which was cast by Dumbledor. he hasn't cast it yet, not that it matters much in a fan fic but still interesting knowledge

My life has been on a downward spiral out of control, but I've got no one but myself to blame, I mean I have some childhood trauma, but who doesn't? and once you reach a certain age you need to start owning your mess and fight to fix your stuff, but..*sighhhhh* It's not that easy! I'm having what I can only assume to be either depression or the embodiment of the sin of sloth. I've got no motivation to fix my life even if I know how to... Not that I know, just saying, ok?... I do love myself enough not to consider suicide, or is it laziness about killing myself?, well for sure I do not want to cause my parents and siblings pain, so maybe I can say that it's because of that. Well, the point is that I'm stably depressed, yes that's my state!

its not unseen for very picky wands to take away their loyalty to a wizard who had a change or heart or personality strong enough. tho rare it does happen, dragon heart string wands are known to be the less loyal and cases of them changing alligence did happened. if a wizard stop showing the traits the wand chose him for, the wand might not be as permanent as you might expect.
On the other hand, Hawthorn wands favored wizards with complex or contradictory personalities or those going through periods of inner turmoil.

He went even further than usual with this step as he had more room to work with and so could add even more runes to the wood to improve it further. He hesitated to place the feather within the staff however as he felt it was not enough for it. In an epiphany moment he realized what it was he needed to add as well , a part of himself. From his head he plucked a single strand of his own hair and carefully entwined it around the feather before placing it within the staff and closing it up.
