I am not a Zoroastrian, I am a Christian. What I don't understand is why you felt the need to make this comment on a fictional novel. I simply don't understand.
ch 73 The End of the War
History · xmafian
I am not sure what you mean. The novel begins historically, but over the course of the story it becomes alt-history.
ch 0 1 The King of kings
History · xmafian
If a fictional novel offends you, you should perhaps rethink your "superiority."
ch 73 The End of the War

I mean, I can try, but my graphic skills are close to zero.
ch 73 The End of the War
History · xmafian
I'm sorry for the delay, but I had to take a pause. I was swamped with my job and personal life, and I was feeling burn-out.
ch 72 The final nail in the Arab coffin
History · xmafian
No, no he isn't. This isn't a transmigrating novel. This is simply alternate history.
ch 21 Bringing the good news
History · xmafian
I do have some ideas to what to write after I finish this one. You can tell me your idea, but personally I suggest you to write your own book, since it is your idea.
ch 70 Remember the human
History · xmafian
Yeah I know, in the earlier chapter it's obnoxious, but it's not used as much in later chapters.
"Of course, my Shahanshah, may he be immortal. Now, to our spies in Arabia…"
History · xmafian
I am not well versed in the Arab language, so I don't know such details. Thank you for pointing it out.
"Caliph Abu Bakr, I agree with you, I do. And I suggest we start drafting our plans immediately. I will let my men inform the other, so they can start preparing for a campaign." Abbas nodded and immediately favoured in Abu Bakr's decision.

To be fair, I have no idea. It will depend on my mood, but I'll try to write at least 1 per week, maybe more.
ch 65 To reclaim the jewel
History · xmafian
Thank you very much! I have already begun to write the first chapter, so it all depends on my time and mood. But I hope it'll be out soon.
ch 63 The battle of Al-Quadissiyah
History · xmafian
To be fair, the outcome of this battle is literally in the first chapter. This isn't any foreshadowing.
Yazdegerd nodded. He was happy he could share his happiness with someone. All this time on throne, he was search for something that would affirm him, something that would assure him that he's doing great and that he's worthy of the throne. Was this battle it? Was this his Magnus Opum, something that would put him on a path of a worthy ruler? He though it was, but history would have it other way.

It's just a misconception by the muslims. They think that.
"It seems our worship of fire angers more people than it gladdens nowadays." said the Shah with a pinch of sarcasm. Farrukhzad grinned a bit, but quickly reverted to his normal expression.

Yes, I know about that issue. I myself had issues with it, so I try to write it more understandably.
ch 41 To act like adult
History · xmafian
Well, he isn't an inventor, nor is he a scientific genius. There may be some technological advancement, but it's not like he'll invent anything by himself.
ch 62 The brewing storm
History · xmafian
Yes, The Immortals were an elite unit within the Persian army who were said to be immortal due to their numbers never diminishing under 10,000 men.
"And last but not least, Jalinus, my loyal servant, even though you are of Armenian descent, you have proven you loyalty to my Empire by serving my predecessors and ancestors. I hereby bestow you with the title of hazarbed, commander of darigan and of The Immortals, he who commands thousands."
History · xmafian
Working on another chapter right now!
Darigan were the Shahanshah's bodyguard, while The Immortals were a Persian elite unit. Not much to do with religion.
I am not really sure as to what exactly are you trying to point out. I began writing this story because I like the history of pre-islamic Persia and I wanted to imagine a world where it never ceased to exist. As to whether some people might find it offensive - yes, they might. But I don't really see this as my problem. Getting angry over a fictional novel seems like a waste of time and energy to me. If you read at least a bit, you'd realize that the whole novel is written in third person - that means from the perspective of a narrator. If you don't like my novel, don't read it. Simple as that.
