Oh... Yeah... When I started this fanfic, I didn't know have any idea what I was doing. Frustrated seeing many fanfic has the same formulaic trope, I wanted to told my self how easy it was making a novel out of those plot. But later I grew fond of the character and the synergy, so here I am, trying to clarify everything. And Emma too... I realize when I already wrote 10 chapter ahead about when she is 17 the MC is 27. So yeah, I can't argue with that.

Well... Now that I think about. Yeah, you are right, people will be like you. That knowing this is a fanfic but not knowing the comic and will blame the author for bad idea. Hmm.. The solution is maybe like this... Replying to the comment. Or maybe tell the reader on the end of chapter where I read the wiki and comic book.

1. He is not pedophile... My earlier wording is just that bad, that's why if I re-read it again. The MC feels awkward. Illyana and Julia will have their own separate story and team that's why in the aux, I never describe their power. 2. Sigh this is a problem like you and any other reader. "Read comic" they said, "It is not like the comic" they said, and now when someone really search for the trivia and incorporate it to the story, they suddenly complain because the reader can't handle to much information and want to go back to formulaic MCU or X-Mansion bedding Jean and trashing Cyclops scenario, with Ancient One women appearing Infront of the MC. 3. That's my mistake. I usually read novel in the read aloud function of Edge browser. So every beat of a sentence is like a punch that bring the story forward. So I didn't realize that some of the reader is not using the same method as me. So yeah... It's a clutter. Maybe in the future I will fixed it.

When I write that chapter down, I didn't have any experience on creative writing. My only concern at that time is how to know the next word to my sentence. So every plot on the early chapter are purely based on how my writing instinct kick in. But don't worry.. Now I have general knowledge this novel will go into.

Stupid? Well, I was just trying to exaggerate the stories from the comic. In there, Ian Kandel is being blackmailed by Emma Frost's father to make his life miserable. Now, imagine if he had evidence supporting it. So yeah, if you call the idea stupid, you might as well call the entire Marvel comic stupid, buds.
