Wait that's common? because most novels on the reccommendation section of this app mostly has a chapter dedicated for the explanations of magic, lore, maps and goals all mixed up in one chapter making the whole experience reading it quite bland 😭

though, with how the author use religion as a limitation kind of sorts in this story i think the only limitations for them is on how much spells they can do given their affinity on an element. And their magic system is actually like a hospital/marketing department kind of thing where everyone know the basics but has different roles for more efficiency. Though this kind of thing where we gotta brainstorm this is a cute spice where it kind off depends on the reader on how they view magic in this story giving it some sort of mystery on how much trouble everyone can cause if one certain spell got leak somewhere. Giving it some extra spicy uniqueness from other fantasy novels where they gotta have a whole chapter of introduction on magic it's kinda nice that we all just happen to read random arguement, gossip and lectures about magic here. Though it was nice talking to you, atleast i have something to look forward too this week since UTOT have no updates for me this week and idk why is that happening 🥹

oh yes i now remember those, but considering that she cast fire and wind spells kinda off weakly. That was probably just her instincts acting up since she do knows that most earth spells need to cast on earth, though idk about water spells since i don't remember her mostly using if unlike her using wind and fire spells. Those spells are probably the only ones she can do on those elements unlike in earth spells where she can do a lot of stuff with. But since she is just a fictional character in a fictional world i kinda thinks that those spells she do in fire and wind spells are the ones she learned first and never really got better at it since she has earth and water affinity. Since she did first learned defensive and medical-ish spells back in Anatol

Maxi did firstly knew how to make flames even if it's too small, and from that she did got an ambition to be a fire mage which it has a chapter of it's own. And it is mentioned that one mage must know how to do many minor spell from different elements for survival. And from how most mages know on which element they are good at they probably study all the elements first. Because it is also mentioned that some mages need to be in that process that i forgot what it is all i remember is Maxi got hers from her being healed multi times which someone pointed out in the comment section in that chapter that forget what number it is. And i forgot if it was mentioned or not that on how Maxi knew she had an affinity Earth magic they probably has some sort of thing to figure it out. But tbh I'm not sure I'm just relying on my memories. And the times on the manhwa where Ruth looked so hot casting a fire spell and Maxi having silly dream being a fire mage and fighting side by side with Riftan in a battlefield

Even King Reuben was likely to take issue with the golem rune, given Wedon's longstanding wariness of Riftan. It seemed unlikely that Reuben III would quietly accept Anatol possessing such a powerful rune.
