While I do agree the power scaling seems off, you can’t take all they say for granted. The author may have purposely exaggerated it, due to the MC’s current jealously.
However, looking at himself, he only had a B-level ability. No matter how hard he worked, he could at most be a primary school teacher.

A “dining hall” is not what I would expect to see in a normal house. . .
Arthur made his way to the bottom floor, which contained all the regular parts of a house, a kitchen, an entertainment room, a dining hall, the laundry, etc. Each floor had its own bathroom, and a kitchen for that matter, but they made sure to eat as a family on the bottom floor when they could.
