I mean, in the actual anime Dosu who gets killed by Garaa and Zaku and Kin are killed by Orochimaru. So to him , there's no reason to kill them because there already gonna die. At least that's my take on it.

No cause Kakashi isnt a sensor nin. He cant sense people. Also, all sensor ninja can only sense people in a specific area. Like some. Could sense in a range of half a mile, some could sense in a mile, some further. And some could only sense in a 100 yd.
To be exact he was flying high enough that others do not see him.

That is true, it's exactly what the genin corp is for sending them on missions with other ninja. Also, this is how most chunin are. They lose their specified teams. And will just team up with whoever is best for that specific mission.
Team 7 currently took a C-rank mission to escort a bridge builder to the land of waves and Hiruzen wanted Jin to Accompany them.

I mean, Sakura and Ino would be the equivalent of a 25-year-old that can't do anything for themselves and run to their parents for everything. So just like the real world, there are some people that are just more mature than others at the same age.
