Not in Naruto because is always the same thing in every fic, now I'm not saying it would be boring or bad to the history I just think the focus would be better spend in the game and in it's development than in the reaction of konoha or some conspiracy of Danzou or Sarutobi.

Well I think that's was kinda expected is just too little development and too much "waifu" some end up getting forgot, there's a bunch cool ways to develop a Shinobi village or a country in Naruto but we only see waifu collection. I would love see Enel going to Takumi Village and take everyone with him before they become a filler villain because their theme kinda fits his village.
We had a kind of debate/vote on the possible return of Mikoto, and the results made everyone's position clear: it's better to let the dead rest.
