no bruh. he doesn't know what a sacred gear. how can he come to the conclusion that his system is a sacred gear if he doesn't know what the term is. Even if you are the author, as the readers empathising the MC's situation, this feels impractical. he shouldve asked em what it is and then told em he doesnt have a sacred gear. Also couldve told em he had such power since some days before and he doesn't know the reason and stuff or he could just act his way out.
