It doesn't work that way. I've tried it. the juices from the meat cooking turn and spice picked up from Carolina reaper marinade into more like eating a raw ghost pepper seeds and all at worst. Still hot, but not Carolina reaper hot. If your cooking technique isn't great you'll only end up habanero hot. Once I realized that I started using Carolina reapers in marinades quite a lot. You'd have to stuff it under the skin of a chicken or duck or something te even get most, but not all, of the heat.

"I'm not great with spice and I'm not lying when I say I'll be crying by the end of this whole thing regardless of what I pick… but I'd do it again in a heartbeat. I certainly don't get sexual pleasure from this but it's the good burn you know?"
