yeah, alcohol is gonna make you freeze faster it may make you feel warmer but thats because it thins the blood a tad and makes more blood go to your limbs which your body tries to stop so that it can retain more heat, if it goes to your limbs it loses more heat causing you to freeze faster so unless they have a fire that wine is killing them faster, but maybe thats what Colin wants

as this is clearly portrayed to be another world and not just a game (at least thats my guess) I personally have no issues with it and in fact would actively try to date if I was in that same situation as Jake.
