Reverale had stopped talking with the little impact that had been caused by the kiss of the hand on his cheek. It wasn't Damien who had slapped him but Penelope which was why the man stood still with his face turned to his right side.

Lady Ursula thought that the drink was for her and she raised her hand ready to take but instead, Damien passed the glass of juice to Penny and took a sip of the alcohol. Without bothering to look at the girl whose face fell in embarrassment.

This was her punishment but he was sitting next to her though in better condition than her, as her dress not only weighed but also made her feel as if she were being frozen in the time of winter. She looked at his muddy hands which were planting the plant, "Did you get it?" she felt him flick his hand across her forehead, specks of mud falling on her nose, "Stop daydreaming and staring at me. I know I am handsome."

Walking inside the room she saw it was the little girl whom her son was attached to. She stared at the girl for a minute, a smile coming upon her lips at the thought of what the future held. Going around the bed, she pulled the blanket and covered the girl with it before closing the door quietly shut behind her.

As expected little Vivian had diligently finished her homework that night by taking possible help from Mrs Carmichael. The sound of her hand hitting the face of the man echoed through the spacious space attracting the guests who were around. It was an open-handed smack which left a red print on his cheek. The man seemed shocked, not moving for a few passing seconds until he realized what had happened. Being raised and spoilt from a wealthy family, it was the first for him to be slapped by a woman, less a human.

A sarcastic laugh escaped from Calhoun's lips, the smile broadening out of delight and excitement. His red eyes stared at Diego, and he lifted his hand to wipe the blood near his mouth with the back of his hand.

The other remaining demons looked wide-eyed because no one had ever seen a demon's head being broken and smashed on the ground like an egg that was dropped to break and splatter. For a couple of seconds, everyone stood still, while Calhoun had bent down to make sure the demon would not wake up in this lifetime unless hell gave him another ticket to live in the realm of the living.

Another impatient demon jumped behind Calhoun, swinging his hand to catch hold of the King's neck. But before the demon could get too close to him, Calhoun stepped aside. Using his hand, he caught hold of the demon's neck before squashing it flat on the ground where there was lesser snow. A loud crack was heard because of the demon's head hitting against the ground.

"A silver bullet always affects a demon or a vampire, especially the ones that have been made under the pressure of holy water. When it hits a person, it starts to diffuse in your body before your insides start to melt," said Diego, educating Calhoun as if he didn't know about it.
