wuuu…~ *sob sob* I just finished the novel noooooooo…. *Warning: kinda spoilery* It’s a wonderful novel. Most people would probably be put off by the fact that everything goes against the protagonist, and that he is extremely immature, but that only makes his character development more touching. Most characters in the novel (especially those in Tengda) never lose their individuality. As in, the named characters never go away (even if boss pei really wants them to lol). From Bao Xu to Tang Yizhu, they are all distinct and unforgettable. Even the ‘villains’ of the story have motivations, although most of them are benefits. I would give this a 5 stars, if not for the fact that the translation gets a bit iffy in the later chapters. The ending made me cry for some reason? Like I know the ending was quite happy, but I was incredibly sad that it had to end. I wanted to see more of the characters and how Tengda would develop. It felt bittersweet in a way. Ah, I know, ‘parting is such sweet sorrow’. I feel like that’s the basic essence. It’s a great beginner novel, however daunting the 1670 chapters may be. Hell, I even stopped reading for a year before I got back into it. But that’s the fun of this novel. Rereading it doesn’t seem as painful as other webnovels, and you slowly start to understand the ‘abnormal’ brain circuits of those in Tengda. Boss Pei eventually learns to be a greater person, and seeing his progression from a person purely motivated by the prospect of earning 50,000 yuan into someone who can put his interests aside for the greater good really filled me with feelings that were hard to describe. Maybe like a parent who had finally seen their child grow up? He never loses his bottom line despite having much reason to do so, as in sacking his employees just because they go against he losses. He realises that they really are just looking to make the company better. The final decision was the thing that did it for me. It was so cathartic that I felt kind of bad for Pei Qian for a while? But I understood it was for the greater good, and he saw that himself. I would like to end this review with a quote from near the end of the novel: ‘Today is a good day. To celebrate, everyone can knock off early! Tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, and the day after tomorrow’s tomorrow, would be a three-day holiday!’ Just kidding, but I would reread this again and again. I hope you give it a try. The real quote (it’s quite long): ‘I think that the so-called rich man should not look at how much wealth he has, but what he does with this wealth. Having wealth does not mean controlling wealth. If he only wants his wealth to continue increasing, he is actually just a slave to money. If people who hold wealth can do more meaningful and valuable things through this wealth, then even if they don’t have much personal wealth, they are actually the owners of true wealth. A tycoon should not only have money, but also have prestige, trust, cohesion, and other intangible forces. A person can be called a tycoon as long as his spirit is rich even if he is temporarily poor! The concept of a tycoon is only limited to the assets that people have. It is very narrow to judge a person by the money that a person has. In fact, you are seeing people as slaves to money. Humans might not be without money and be materialistic, but they also cannot only have money and materialism. Money is a resource. People should know how to use resources well and not become slaves to resources.’

because the way you worded it insinuated that within the human body that the blood in veins were blue.

When she used her treasured scissor to cut Whittaker's hair, not even a single strand of his hair suffered any points of damage. Rather, It was her Treasured scissor that got destroyed, its metal blade bend at an unusual angle.

Seo Kwang was surprised. Black was such an obvious choice. Without intending on belittle Baron, of course. It was not a bad word in and of itself. However, words tend to be sensitive and delicate. It didn't take much for them to turn into something completely different. That was why they needed to be treated with caution.

Lucky! My gender didn't change. Otherwise, it would have been crazy. Putting aside my memory of being a straight human male for the past twenty-odd years, judging from how I hatched from an egg, if I really became a female, wouldn't that mean I would have to pop eggs out when I breed in the future? That scene is simply…
