"Spoken like a true Survivalist." Vector grumbled. "You are the sort of mechers who would not hesitate to engineer the downfall of our Association if it is for the benefit of our race."

As interesting as it was to accompany Ves as he continued to come up with the most inventive and revolutionary initiatives a Senior Mech Designer could come up with, Jovy was starting to get tired of getting jerked around all of the time.

Do you all think there will be any handbags 👜 on auction today?

I think this is a fundamental shift in mentality from a space rim peasant to a higher societal standing. Ves has become so important that he is breaking free of the confines of the value of money. He and everyone around him are so sure of his continued success and growth that he is afforded a near limitless credit to borrow money as he sees fit. Remember when he was selling his first few mechs and it was hard for him to find a lone buyer who was willing to pay a few brighter dollars on one of his mechs. I wonder what value those first few mechs are worth to collectors at this point in his career.
Money was no longer an insurmountable problem to Ves at this point. Just as his wife and several advisors suggested, he could always go deep into debt in order to finance a massive investment. His earning ability was more than enough to pay it all back in time.

This whole mini arc is great. It’s giving me flashbacks to him being on trial for the destroying the nutrient bar wrapper.

Alright, I’m convinced. We don’t know how it’s possible, but can we really let this opportunity pass us by?
"God Ye, I want to give birth to monkeys for you…"
Urban · Supreme Yi Fan
By collapsing do they mean like a gamble falling through? Is this just bad translation or is it an aspect of the raw stones falling apart?
"That's right. Didn't you say that these raw gemstones were all picked out by Master Ye for you? Why did two pieces collapse in a row?"
Urban · Supreme Yi Fan
I’m waiting for the classic Ves move where he gets his trust betrayed by the obvious ally and so he flips the table and starts to work with the opponent. Will ves end up becoming a fleeter, or will the red association realize their mistake in time to stop themselves from becoming his enemy? Find out next time on ‘The Mech Touch’!

This is great and all, but it does nothing to counter the argument. This is like a commercial break in the middle of a debate.
"Unlike static mechs, living mechs are not strictly subject to these limitations. While their material parts and components cannot magically grow stronger to a drastic degree, nothing is impossible in the Age of Dawn. Modern hyper mechs have made my products a lot more relevant due to the fact that hyper technology and E-technology are closely related to each other. All pilots who utilize living mechs can expect their new battle partner to grow and adapt to their thinking processes, their piloting styles, their combat preferences, their combined experiences on the battlefield and more. There are so many different factors that can fuel the growth of living mechs that they gain new possibilities every day. As long as mech pilots have the discipline and the motivation to grow stronger, they will find that they can always gain the support they need from their living machines."

What was even more shocking was that not only did he provoke him, but he was also able to escape unscathed.

He’s going to do what?
"It's not just miserable. With Boss Gao's temper, I'm afraid he can kill this kid alive."

He had a shiny, slicked-back hairstyle, and a pair of sunglasses on his nose.

It was a calculated risk, I’m just bad at math.
No, to be precise, it was 100% successful.

"Good. Let me beat up these false versions of myself. These obnoxious bastards are annoying as hell! I won't be satisfied until I squeeze out every lie from their fake and illusionary bodies!"
