Dude stop we lost. Look all manga ;series... if MC is a guy he is almost always a pathetic caricature and need/depend on women to power up or to protect or to guide him. If MC is a woman, she is a mary sue and "her own woman" ya see. There's a conspiracy of gender propaganda and ideological terorism since several years back. I suspect simp is a result of upbringing. I can't imagine someone even with an upbeat and positive character being able to get over it like he does. You struggle for a happy ending and poof the cake is a lie. But well we can imagine the authors had a plan for maybe a reunion since it's Vol.1.
