Honestly, I believe this book is rather fresh for the fantasy genre, as normally the MC starts off as either a powerful person turned weak or a person who needs to be trained by others. However, this book takes the best of both of those, as the MC still has the brains and recognition as the 'strongest magician,' but he no longer has the abilities that gave him such prestige. The writing quality is decent and has a few flaws in it, however, the quality of the story, stability of the updates, character design, and world background are all consistent and intriguing.
