This sounds both dangerous, and ineffective... so fully in character for the youth.

Kimura Taree was quick to take advantage of the stunned spider-monster. She sprinted toward it, barreling through the Thorn Elves that tried to get in her way. She even whipped her silver ponytail around, so the adamantine knife tied at the end sliced one of the elves' throats.

Can't rave about this novel enough. Nothing I could describe would do it justice. The thought that goes into Tycon's actions is impressive. the feeling of dejavu of being at a table with a character exactly like King or Krysos, the the descriptive and intense battle scenes, and of course the humor and hard to predict plot: all of these elements combine to create a well written well rounded story that you simply can't forget. I though his class changed somewhere along the line. Was he always a warlord?

However... that person had the same high-tier Class as he did: Warlord. That, alone, was enough to guarantee base competence with strategy and tactics.
