Are they making food? Are they buying it? If they are making food, how? Like, they’re three years old. Even disregarding Naruto and his very canon idiocy, they are literally tiny. Who is trusting these random three year olds to know how to work a stove, oven, and other electric or gas powered cooking appliances? If they’re buying it, she’d have to be the one doing it, because from previously established bias in this fic, pretty much no one is selling Naruto anything at a decent price. If she is buying their groceries, is Naruto paying her for his portion? Did she demand he do that? Did he just roll with it, without questioning it at all?
A week has already passed since we got our apartment. I have gotten the printer and all the supplies, plus a small shop in front of Ichiraku Ramen.

So, Hiruzen saw two three year olds barge into his office yelling about spies and traitors, finds out that was false, has them disrespect him as on of them demands a reward for work that should have been her duty anyway, because a single ninja can’t promise a reward without the backing of their kage unless it’s coming directly from them and probably just said that to make her happy thinking that she’ll forget it in a few minutes, then decides that they know better than adults and can obviously take care of themselves better than adults could take care of them, even though they’re only three years old? Right, this makes nothing but sense.
