He listened to everything prior. He actually followed all orders and showed no hostility despite being the only one armed and the strongest there. Author is trying rationalize after the fact
Extracting everything from Fenrir had been extremely useful. Michael gained so much in return. Of course, he lost a Heroic Summon as a result, but that could also be considered an advantage. His Heroic Summon would have definitely lost his sanity in no time. Removing Fenrir was the only way to ensure his own safety and the survival of his territory.

Fenrir could have killed them both many times over, especially since he thought he was ghe only one with a weapon, but he didn't. All this rationalizing and back tracking by the Author to say how bad he was and how justified it was is getting old. MC comitted evil because he thought he was removing evil. There is no moral high ground here. History is written by the victors.
Michael would kill Fenrir again, even if time would turn back 24 hours. That was enough for him to understand that he did the right thing and that it was not worth dwelling on the what ifs any longer.

I disagree entirely. The only reason the cost of execution is higher is due to the flawed legal framework surrounding it in many western countries with multiple appeals etc. As for innocent being killed, again that is due to a flawed and outdated system. Also, stricter punishment and laws do deter crimes from happening to a very high degree.
"Shocking right? I know. My mother died when I was six months old but I learned that when she was ruling, Nagaland was prosperous and a powerful Kingdom. One of the reasons for my mother's success was her rules, my mother made sure that rapists, murderers who killed innocent Nagas, and all other kinds of evil bastards die painfully. Because of that everyone feared committing a crime which kept the prisons from overflowing with Nagas"

These days, not so much.
Her reputation among the people had earned her the moniker 'Alpha Girl,' a testament to her strong feminist mindset and her tendency to look down upon males. Many Young Masters present at the scene had experienced bitter encounters with her in the past. Furthermore, she frequently associated with one of Bredia's prodigies, Celina.

It was the only explanation he could find. That and the fact it had been a special creature.

Story is stale and forced. Lot's of changes to the MCs personality in the initial chapters, it just doesn't gel. One minute he is crafty, then always just says things upfront, then doesn't feel he should voice his grievance. Too much forced plot, it doesn't feel like natural story progression.
