Fair enough, It depends heavily on your own personality & how you deal with things. Now, sometimes even if we think we stopped caring & got used to it we still unconsciously feel the impact of it. I guess everyone copes differently & tolerates differently.Also depending on where the bullying or abuse is occurring & how far people go , so I dunno. Understandable

Maybe it's not always 20$ & it alternates? or maybe he gets particularly cheap bad train service I dunno. We dunno how this book's world works. Perhaps there are different train compartments for the poorer & richer as well which makes less cost. Maybe there are train compartments with no seats which makes it cheaper & is specifically for the less privileged/worse brain Crystal people. Maybe it's kinda like racism

Just because you're used to it & expect it doesn't make it any less painful nor any less anger inducing. That's simply how any form of bullying or abuse works. You feel powerless & like you can't do anything so you hold your emotions in.At least until a later time when you get angry enough to the point where you explode, verbally, physically, or on your own using other means to vent.
