I’m not too sure, I wouldn’t say they were mid but more so the circumstances might not have been optimal to bring out they’re full potential it was only once the rinnegan appeared that black zetsu really started the proper initiation of his plan and not to mention that ninjutsu was really still in its infancy and only saw hug boom in terms of development after tobirama entered additionally with orochimaru developing stuff like the curse mark, I can only imagine what would would have happened if a genius of they’re level would have appeared within the uzumaki clan while they were still strong

Tbh I feel like you should just branch off from the original and go forward in your own way, you really have something interesting going on here
First of all, I would like to say that this entire chapter has been completely re-worked from the original MTL. The direction and story writing in the MTL was so plain, boring, and full of gaps. So much so that I decided to use the general template of the MTL chapter and write my own. And if you've read the entirety of the chapter, you will know that I decided to include a certain family in my chapter and the reason why is because I had wanted to flesh out the background story of Luke and give him additional character depth. I used the Parkers because I wanted to keep myself open to any future possibilities :D Besides, this whole thing is an AU isn't it fufu. But then again, I may end up not using the Parkers as much in this translation since I don't quite know how they would be written in future chapters by the original author. I'm just an editor trying to make this story a more enjoyable read. I also attempted to establish a connection with Wanda in a more realistic way. The original MTL was just "hehe this is my wife, I love my wife, she is my wife." And Wanda being like "Who is your wife?! Ba- Baka *blush blush*". Please let me know how I did with this chapter, especially those who have read the original MTL. Do you prefer if I keep going with the direction that I'm going, or do you prefer that I stick to the original MTL direction, Let me know please!

Editor's general note: The next chapter will focus more on Wanda and building her relationship through the content in the diary! But wow! What a chapter and my longest one yet! This took me a long time to edit and is basically almost 70% different from the original chapter 5 of the MTL, and I can only hope that it's for the better! Exactly!!! I don’t like stories where the mc gets involved in every single event of every character, I understand that that letting things happen is like trying to force canon but canon in itself is usually just a way for characters to grow on a self journey

You know what’s funny, I read this story about a year ago but stoped after 2 or 3 chapters and went to read other stuff, now coming back to it alot of stuff makes sense now after expanding my reservoir of knowledge and fiction, it shows how you can’t enjoy certain things without the right amount of knowledge, it’s the equivalent to a noob who reads manga and anime only trying to get into warhammer 40k, some things just won’t click
