Is this him or the fish?

"Haha, good! I haven't gotten a chance to practice this on something truly strong, so don't disappoint me!"

Lin Ming, who was far away, only heard the conversation between the two, so he naturally couldn't see the Little Dragon.

Everything she has been given??? All hail Queen Noah!

The many things that had occurred were all due to the chance meeting they had some weeks back. Since then, a dangerous threat had been taken care of and she was given an even higher position. She smiled in wonder at her unique skill and the man that made it possible. Everything she gained would all be given to him, as she wouldn't have any of it without him.

"at least 7 meters" A few chapters ago when the other person used it it was also 8 meters.

The 8-meter long incarnation remained suspended in the air, defying the laws of gravity as the body became more and more solid as the red light spread throughout the skies before deadly words could be heard from it.

Pretty sure he has the one detection skill that alerts him if he's in danger. Unless he combined that skill already... then idk

My speed with [Flight] continued to increase as I learned and activated more support skills, but I was using it for its function of keeping me in the air as I used [ Regal Archer's Eyes] and [Instant Transfer] in conjunction to disappear and appear a few miles away. Using flight at its maximum speed would get me across the same distance, but not as fast as the instantaneous movement.

I think every awakened person has that to some extent. It probably just comes from being "in tune" with the essence (for lack of a better way to say it)

I wonder where this is going??? There's no way he's about to test out the only skill he hasn't used yet... 🤫

They weren't too different from the masses that I was used to in the Frozen Kingdom, only looking slightly more impoverished as they had access to less food.

I'm pretty sure he's wearing like 5 different sets of armor right now. He probably looks ridiculous.

The newly obtained rank S items were [Viridian Boots], [Legion Armor], and [Dulled Trident]. Besides the trident, I could wear everything else. The new [Legion Armor] went on top of the rank S Veiled Suit with no issues, and the [Viridian Boots] vastly increased my speed. All of these new additions and skills made me confident to stand against the power of an EPIC ranked skill without my life being snuffed in the next second. I would give myself another day before going out to clash with the mercenaries still waiting in ambush outside the snowy roads.

I think everyone's been doing that since the beginning of the story...

I was enhancing my skills in such a systematic way that it almost seemed foreign to me, with this type of progress even giving me an excited scare. I wanted to grind my active offensive skills similar to the defense, covert, and support skills that I will just refer to as passive skills from now on since they act that way with my nearly endless mana.

I have the feeling that he'll get an EPIC skill from his first go at it, but I'm not upset at it since there's actually this really good explanation behind it. Otherwise it would be like *of course he got exactly what he was hoping for* (statement said dripping in sarcasm)

Higher ranked dungeons rarely granted skills of the same rank though, where a very low percentage existed of a party clearing an EPIC ranked dungeon to actually get an EPIC ranked skill. The established norm after hundreds of years was that the more people you delved into a dungeon with, it caused the reward to be split across everyone. So powerful Heroes who could take on dungeons alone would be the ones to find themselves getting powerful skills of the same rank of dungeons they were clearing

I'm pretty sure it's just saying that you don't fear injuries because (here's the actual effect) you get a +200% defense boost while you have it active. I think the stuff about injuries is mostly just flavor text.

We were able to take down a few rank A Leaders and two more rank S. The rank S loot worthy of mentioning was the rank S item [Storage Pouch], that held a much larger space than the lower ranked storage rings I had been using, and attached itself to my waist when equipped. The other one was a skill called [Protection of the Wounded: Injuries cause you no fear as your defense is increased by 200% while the skill is active]

Unique skills can be passed down???

I held the Unique Skill, {GOLDEN RULE}, that was passed down since my beloved mother met her death. On the bed when she lay with her life force slowly leaking out she screamed to the little girl who was in shock.

Don't worry. It's not as bad as my reading of Spykeap

We flew away from the floating Nest on the Whitewing beasts, passing through the cold winds that now also had the addition of heavy snow as dark clouds hung overhead. My sight was locked onto this Skypeak Nest that I would most definitely visit for myself in the future

Only a few weeks? I thought most hunters spent years and only got them to 50ish. Though, I suppose it makes sense that it would be somewhat possible since most veteran hunters have a few at 100 proficiency.

With the advent of [Skill Combination], their lead from other hunters will continue to get wider as they start combining many of their skills to produce higher ranked ones. The reality of them combining several rank A skills to become A+, and then spend a few weeks to raise those skills up to the required proficiency in order to produce a rank S skill wasn't too far off. I wasn't sure whether hunters holding multiple rank A+ skill could fully match someone with 1 or two rank S skills, but time would tell as things progress

Nope. No one else is absolutely scared out of their mind that a whole new monster just appeared. Everyone's perfectly fine with it.

The thundering shout that seemed to scream an arrival blasted throughout the battlefield. I looked at this piece of work as I let out a command in my thoughts, and the beast disappeared from my sight
