Unless it’s to afford magic books or special swords ect I think it would be better to give more early year support to those that don’t get anything from the awakening. The awakened kids would have a higher earning potential this not needing as much help to cover funds whereas the other kids that don’t get anything would have nothing until they build themselves up
Once they are deemed as an Orphan, they'll receive support from the government depending on their 'results' or 'potential'. The brighter their future is, the better the investment will be.

ah so the way the novel presents the upgrades as an IDEA makes it sound like it gets stronger WITH the mc as he gets stronger like how in a normal rpg, its a status effect that affects most things dealing a BASE PERCENTAGE of damage (the only thing changing if it is applied being level difference). You didn't introduce any form of grade with the poison like saying somewhere in the description that it comes from xxx monster which = weak, so given that the novel is rpg like (bc of system/status points ect) it is sort of implied, as basic game knowledge. also my b if it sounds like im yelling as i make things capitals but i only do that to add emphasis since i cant make them bold in a comment.

icl i came on harsh to the author when it was a smol novel with only a few chapters like a year ago about scaling/upgrades/evolution stuff which made me stop reading for a bit. after coming back to it ive re-read it and safe to say im happy with the quality upgrade this got. good stuff adam 👌
