For anyone wondering if they should pick this story up, or unsure if a SS fan-fiction would even be worth it, I can assure you that IT IS WORTH IT. Reading this has given me a feeling similar to reading Shadow Slave itself for the first time, a sense of wonder, character growth, unique story, and interesting personalities. Updates are mostly consistent, grammar is great; save a few errors that are completely understandable.

Other reviews are biased on count of previous works or something. This one is not. While the MC is weak at first, it is completely reasonable and he genuinely tries to improve, you can almost feel his struggle lol. His journey to improve is very daunting, and at first and many other times he fails, or will fall short. However he will never give up, he is intelligent, cunning, and unrelenting in pursuit of his goals. Story development is very good, with the main story being a few years away you might think it would be boring, it is anything but. Characters are top-tier! the growth emotionally is very well written.(Obviously, the author is on top) They feel very real and each character has what feels like their own identity, personality, and ideals. Updates are almost weekly 🤷🏻‍♂️ quality takes time, I don’t know. Writing quality is a solid native English speaker, with a few very understandable errors here and there that, in no way, affect your ability to interpret the sentence. Love it so far!
