it should be lv 4. with what is said afterwards (and before by Godess Mea), 1->2 = 100xp, 2->3=200xp,3->4=300xp, 4->5=400xp. +10 stat point/lv so if +30, it's 3 lv up so 1->4

it is only said that he kills one, the result of the first throw is unknown, even if we can infere that it's a kill too since it's said group of five but only 4 goblins' weapons listed (2 sword, 1 club, 1 stone). the third knife only injured a third goblin, it's said just after this. so 2 goblins for at least 100xp ... that's a bit too much, especially if to lv up, you need your lv × 100 xp : a goblin's nest is enough to lv up to 8 with just 50 goblins, so a little nest. and goblin are meant to reproduce fast ... leveling is too easy. if a witch with double xp needed 300 years to reach lv 99 by killing 25 slimes everyday, here 1 year of goblins is enough (396 days precisely for 25 goblins per day) So, yes this is a world with lv 1000, if not even 9999, and lv up is too easy
