Not the best work, but an idea I had. It’s actually quite similar to my other novel Nycthemeron, but a little more developed as it is one that has more thought into it. It actually shares elements with some other project of mine that I will not name...
I do not know why, but I have seen a lot of authors here that seem to do it, but here we go. This is Nychthemeron. A story about a guy who’s life suddenly turned upside down under amusing circumstances of becoming chosen by the gods, seemingly at random. As he quickly grows to learn and love his new powers, there comes a set of new challenges. Like, how could he use them, fulfilling his purpose and learning to use them to his full potential and advantage. He’s no hero, but he’s not that evil either. Probably...
I believe HolyJoker is following the Japanese naming conventions, which one piece also uses. Where the surname is before the first name. So for example technically in English Luffy’s name is Luffy Monkey D or Luffy D Monkey.
"My name is Max… Bear D. Max." I answered her, I chose my devil fruit as my last name and the D in the name was just because it would make me seem special. Nothing too complicated, it should be easy so I don't forget my 'own' name.

Nychthemeron
Every twenty-fourth hour of the day, when the clock strikes midnight, something strange occurs in the dreams of Russell Wilson. Of a door that leads to other worlds, of a pool that transforms humans into something otherworldly at the cusp of when moonlight strikes it. And of a world where myths and legends are truth and not just fiction. Every twenty-four hours this dream invaded his mind. Unbeknownst to him however, his dreams are very real. And on the third Saturday of the third month, under the light of a blue moon, Russell’s life changed forever. —— You have been forewarned. This story will deal with some LGBT+ themes. If that’s not your cup of tea, you don’t have to read it at all.7 Chs 0 Collections
This story idea came to me in the middle of the night whilst I was writing my fanfiction on Wattpad, so do not expect it to be any gold, however I think it’s a pretty decent story.
