I love a good book when it occasionally springs up. Fantasy books like Harry Potter and ASOIAF are my favourites. The same goes for anime. You can find my stories in FF, AO3, AH, Patreon and SB.

No. That was the belief of Europeans until they came to India where they found the source of Damascus steel of their rival sultanates. The original name of the steel is Uruk.
In his travels around the world, he came to love the craft of a blacksmith. There was something primaeval to that profession that called him to this ancient art. His curiosity had led him all the way to Sri Lanka and Southern India where the origins of Damascus steel lay waiting for someone with the right resources to claim.

You're an idiot.
He screamed as he felt the forces of gravity increase and renewed its assault on his senses throwing off his recovery. He tried to concentrate his energy into his eyes to fire off a laser beam but the energy could not escape out of his eyes. With gravity being distinctly powerful, even energy and light was getting warped.

He screamed. I didn't say everyone heard him scream.

Yep.
In reality, the invasive species was an insectoid creature that possessed a type of energy that was modifying the Celestial from its basic building blocks of life. He didn't know what would happen once the condition ran its full cycle. He hoped the space plague would end up killing the Celestial, but he was not sure that was the end result. Even now, the celestial he unearthed from ice is not entirely dead. Whatever process the space plague was using to infect its Celestial host, it never ran its course as both of them were frozen deep in billions of years of ice until he unearthed them from the continent and secured them in a vault.

Not right away. But I'm working in a way to incorporate a DC plot in the story. No promises. But I'll try.

He didn't want to spill more blood so he fired off a glancing shot with his laser beam that singed the edges of the two remaining ships. Thankfully, the Kree got the wanting and decided to cut their losses. They took their remaining fighters on board and took the quick way out by engaging their FTL engines. This left Cerion and a partially functioning Kree ship floating in space. Not to mention, a whole lot of Kree dead bodies floating in space.

Then Stark was a guy who loved 4000 years ago. Do you expect the Southerners to even remember him at this point when they could easily compare Daeron to one of the Targaryen dragon riders?
Olenna couldn't help but stare at the two dragons. Unlike the Targaryens of the past, she couldn't easily make a judgement about Daeron Targaryen and Daenerys Targaryen. She knew enough to understand that Daeron Targaryen was far more dangerous than Daenerys Targaryen. Daeron Targaryen was a man who wiped out most of the Freys in a single night. But word from Essos spoke of a ruthless streak in the queen. Yet, the Targaryen queen had so far appeared mellow compared to her husband.

This is not a story in the wizarding world. This is ASOIAF.
ch 90 Chapter 90: The fall of the Rock
Book&Literature · Dragonspectre
The world's magic is not close to what it is in the HP world. Harry can use his magic, obviously, but not to the extent he can in the HP world. Using magic for battle and being a lazy slob who does not do anything productive is very different. Magic is a weapon far greater than any sword or arrows. That's an easily understandable concept.
Unfortunately, all the ruckus Jon made attracted uncle Benjen's attention. The man has taken a vow to teach Harry the 'glory' of swordplay. Harry was quite sure that was not going to make any traction with him. After all, who wants to wave around a piece of metal like some barbarian when he has the power to alter the reality itself. With nary a thought, he could turn these swords into butterflies. Even with his diminished magic, he would have the advantage against any army in this world.

Valyrians conquered Dragonstone and made it their westernmost outpost. Valyrians had come into conflict with the First Men even though they never bothered to invade Westeros.
As powerful as he was, Harry was not idiotic enough to mess with the abode of gods. They were the most powerful in their realm, as the Valyrians found out painfully. If anyone needs to see the power of the Old Gods, one only needs to look at the Doom of Valyria.
