Maxi curled herself into a ball behind him and desperately waited for the fight to end. At long last, when all the monsters were dealt with, Kuahel grabbed her arm and strode over to the gate.

I felt bad for Priscilla. I understood where she's coming from. She was abused in her younger years(at least in my opinion) and act at what she think was right.
