Stamina? Vitality is more suitable...
The way ranks were calculated was simple: a normal human, or F-rank, had 5 points in each stat as a baseline. Every rank after that doubled the requirement—10 points for E-rank, 20 for D-rank, 40 for C-rank, and so on. Your rank was determined by your class and specialization. Having 10 Intelligence made you an E-rank mage, while 20 Strength made you a D-rank warrior. As for derived stats, mana was calculated as Intelligence × 10, and HP was Stamina × 100.

Swap Divine and Mythic, bird-brain.
They had four ranks — Radiant, Sacred, Divine, and Mythic. The lowest, Radiant, was more than enough to change the destiny of a weak hunter, and yet Marlon stared at something far greater.

If he didn't rush his breakthrough and tried getting a talent or two and some skills then he could have passed 5⭐ trial with the same ease as the 4⭐ one.
'And I can get a new talent just by slaying a hundred monsters of the same race or different races that share the same talent.'

Stop justifying him being a coward. As if EX talent is not good enough for a chance at 5⭐ trial when it's of the highest grade. That just makes it's real worth as good as trash.
If he didn't have his absolute attack talent and his skills that amplified his power, he would have spent hours fighting a single darkling.

[You're a sorry excuse of an EX talent]
[ You've selected 4-star difficulty ]
Sci-fi · Deathsketcher
What a boring choice. Do you think that by not picking the highest difficulty even though he's got an EX talent you're writing a more "solid" or "realistic" plot? Nah, you're just making him look like a coward and a loser!
Copper light represented 1-star difficulty, bronze for 2-star, silver for 3-star, and gold for 4-star.
