Well overhaul has a disadvantage here, considering that he's a close ranged fighter it'd be hard for him to actually touch izuku because of izukus quirk but izuku himself also is at a disadvantage since in the anime, it's very clear to see that overhaul isn't hard to beat, with a quirk like he's it's almost impossible to keep your stamina in check, and the izuku in this story is a bit more reckless than the actual izuku in the anime soooo im not sure AND also, overhaul can control concrete right? Or whatever he touches? So he can also be a close ranged fighter and a long ranged fighter which will probably make it harder for izuku to actually beat overhaul in a fight. Now that I think of it, izukus quirk is somehow similar to mirio

Author, i read this like week's ago i think or before 2022 and it made me realize, the responses of the characters don't make as much sense
Overhaul's actions surprised Izuku, thinking that Overhaul was a more close-ranged fighter and incapable of fighting from a distance. 'So he's decided to use violence to try and kill me? Things are gonna get messy.' Izuku thought. "IF IT'S A FIGHT YOU WANT, I'LL GLADLY DELIVER, OVERHAUL!!!"
