If he wanted to mimic Pandora's Box than he would have to make sure that whatever his creation was, would be strong enough to match its name. Unfortunately he didn't see himself being good enough of an enchanter or powerful enough to do it on his own that's why he wanted to engineer a wand into a power source for the actual weapon.

They are very distantly related. Voldemort comes from the direct line of the oldest brother Antioch Peverell (through the Gaunts) and Harry is undoubtedly the direct descendant of Ignotus Peverell. So ultimately Voldemort and Harry are distant cousins. The Peverells lived over a thousand years ago.

Maybe because of how deep it is? I’m assuming the hogwarts founders excavated it out for material to build the castle and then just filled it with water. In the fourth book Harry dives to the bottom and it says that it is far below the dungeons in the castle. Based on the evidence I’d think it was a few hundred meters deep at the minimum

Alex was surprised at how gorgeous the protag was since as a hunter he was expecting a more brutish looking person. it should be kept in mind that hunters were literally super human in terms of strength and durability. this is obviously not a natural thing either as alex had seen normal humans in astera struggle to lift things weighing fifty pounds. the greatsword that the field leader wields required at least a thousand pounds of lifting ability so obviously something was done that made the hunter super human but alex had no clue what.
