To be honest, Aubrey had volunteered to go on this trip but she was feeling really uncomfortable around both Rhyland and Dimitri. Rhyland was her ex. And she still couldn't help but blame Dimitri for the deaths of her family. She knew she would have to talk to the man about the issue sooner or later as it was not good to leave things unresolved. But she just dreaded the confrontation. What was she even gonna say, "Hey you! You got my dad killed. Apologize?"

On the side, Dimitri could only sigh in disbelief. These two obviously love each other but are so insistent in keeping apart. In his mind, the blood pact with Natasha was completely unnecessary.
