Umm, precision was not a Forte of Mysorean rockets. They were wildly inaccurate

The first wave of Mysorean rockets struck with devastating precision on the back lines. Soldiers, who moments before had been leisurely advancing, were now scrambling in panic. Rockets pierced through the air, trailing sparks and smoke, before exploding amidst the tightly packed ranks. Screams filled the air as shrapnel and spearheads tore through flesh, sending bodies flying and leaving mangled corpses in their wake.

As.I said I understand tge need for confidentiality. But since he already sold the machines to domestic industries, that secret cannot remain secret anymore and is bound to be leaked to foreign traders. Had he maintained a strict hold on the tech it would not be an issue. But now it's imperative that the technology is locked for 25-30 years, to ensure competitive advantage

The machine tools were not patented, as they formed the core of the Bharatiya industry. Vijay would never allow any country in the world to obtain machine production technology. Although he was aware that introducing the machine tools into the private sector might eventually lead to leaks, Vijay was confident that by the time other countries caught up, the Dakshin Bhartiya Empire would have already transitioned to steam-powered machine tools. Furthermore, with the advancement of knowledge in this industry, imitation becomes increasingly difficult. It's akin to the chip problem in the 21st century. Chips are among the most challenging technologies to master, as manufacturing them requires the support of various industries, each of which is worth billions of dollars. Even China, the world's second-richest economy, lacks the indigenous capability to manufacture high-end chips. Even if they managed to conduct research on the lithography machine, it would end up becoming useless without the support of the fab, wafer, or chemical industries, which they lack.

Nice, u have not ignored the stress on industry and xhosen a material that's easiky sourced and thus can be refitted and repaired

Deliberately, Vijay chose wood as a raw material for the scorpion grenade launcher instead of metal, despite its greater durability and strength. This decision was due to the availability of the production capacity of wooden products in the empire, as the heavy industry was already struggling to satisfy the orders of weapons for the empire. Although the timber industry was also blooming in the empire, the small-time woodworkers were still capable of taking over this task, Since there were not too high accuracy requirements for the scorpion grenade launcher, Vijay's decision to use wood was a deep consideration of weight and production capabilities.

If I am not mistaken, Raja Mahindra Varam was the old name of Rajhmundry, but that city sits at the banks of Godavsri not Narmada.

Hmmm, 5,400 per month still seems to be a bit less when using division of labor and modern supply chain management principles.

That is almost given. However the Brirish naval supremacy was in a whole different level even when compared against other European countries with significant naval capabilities. The whole resin tge Vritush were able to create duch a vast empire and sustain it over the centuries is a testament to their naval sea fairing capabilities. The Britidh were also famed for their iron will and resolve in battle. They pose a whole different level of threat unlike anything ever faced by the DBE. Moreover their strong trade fleet often acted as an extension of their military by providing sea borne logistics fir their Navy to invade and conquer far off territories.

Over the last few years, Charles had increased his attention on the trading routes of England. He had arranged for spies to infiltrate these operations, which took place along the various trading routes of the empire. The various representatives of the Commonwealth of England to various small powers were also monitored. After spying on the British ambassador to India, Thomas Bartholomew, he came to know about the profits and potential of this South Indian Empire. He was really greedy for this place, which had limitless potential.

So here is tge thing, tge greedy European countries mercenary forces are unlikely to act in isolation and are likely to lend their services to Mughals. British due to their immense confidence in their Navy are likely to take a direct action and are more likely to invade with regular forces as tgey have no need to obscure their involvement.

Oh dear, that does not sound good and protends grave danger for Dakshin Bharatiya Empire (DBE). Not only tgey now gave to contend with Mughals, and their nosy cousins Ottomans, and over zealous Safavids, but they also need to prepare for possible intervention from European powers such as The French and the British. This puts DBE under great stress with current troop levels. I sure hope DBE starts compulsory training and military service for its citizens beyond a certain age.

Why do the specs look earrily similar to a Chinese fire arrow wagon or a Korean Hawacha?

"About the wagon, I want you to make a wagon that can be pushed around by hand. The handles to lift the wagon should be at the hip height of an average person. Use metal for the chassis and big wheels for better mobility. Also, utilize wood for the actual top area. No need to use metal for that," he explained as he handed the design plan to Venu.

The thing with Guerilla Warfare is that it requires two essential things to suceed: first is the terrain advantage such as jungles or mountains for assailant, that allows him to conceal presence, to launch surprise attack and second a enemy that is cognizant of its troops well being. Here, DBE does not have such advantages against Mughals. Since a vast majority of engagements would be fought in plains its difficult to conceal presence. Secondly, Mughals have proven time and again that casualties mean nothing to them and tgey will keep feeding men to war effort. Against this backdrop, Guerilla Warfare itself cannot be the solution. Whike that dies nit mean there would be no Guerilla Warfare strikes. But those strikes would have to be choreographed as a part of larger attack in support of main DBE attacking force and Bharatiya Commandos need to synchronize ygeir attack either with assault by Marines or Army. The targets importance will also change as sometimes it is more important to interdict Mughal supply lines rager than assassinating officer cadre. That however is subjective and will vary from missions to missions .

Vijay was taken aback because he did not consider this question. Thinking about it, he replied, "I will consider this matter. You make arrangements for this change. In the meantime, start implementing the policies we discussed, and begin training the existing police from this week. Commence recruitment from the next week after proper publicity."

Yes, there is. Quite an active one at at that.

"Also, Your Majesty, both these predictions could be wrong, and our enemy might attack our Empire from the Central Region. But if this is done, I am confident that we can defend the region with absolute confidence. The Navy cannot help in the scenario of the attack on the central region, which, in all honesty, puts us in a pretty advantageous position since we do not have to get involved in a naval battle with the Bharatiya Empire, which clearly has a better naval fleet even though the number of ships is less."

I did think of it, but right now DBE does not have the technology. Bedides hot air balloons are ill equipped to serve as bombers as they sre essentially left at the mercy of aur currents and cannot be freely navigated. Besides the silk or cotton cloth would need extensive treatment to make it opaque to air so that it is capable of holding hot air. They almost could serve as obversation posts to scout and provide early warning while send alerts and relay messages via heliograph .

Now that the photo telegraph code is ready, next step is to develop a Cypher. You could start off by adopting the Ottendorf Cypher or the book Cypher.

As for the code language Vijay requested, just a few days ago, the linguist Venudas Kumar, whom Vijay found in the Bharatiya Academy of Sciences, formally submitted the book that compiled the language of code. This book can be considered the first code-based language for military use in the world. Subsequently, Vijay named the code the Communication Code of Kumar.
