Just because he is protagonist his story should always be smooth, no betrayal, no girls he liked should be with another man? wake up dude, there's no protagonist in reality not every girl you like will end up with you. If you are c**ked irl and very sensitive about it, just avoid reading that stuff. I know this is a fantasy novel but I prefer stories closer to reality not some unrealistic big harem smooth sailing story. I am reading this because it's giving me TBATE vibes but, oh boy. Too much filler informations which are not that necessary, unimportant side stories, and confusing first person perspectives (you should put which person's view if you want to change frequently). And over controlling mother is very annoying. She thought she could control everyone because she got beta male as a husband.
