Ahh this is absolutely one of my favorite novels! First of all, the writing is really good, not too complex but not too simple. It's so easy to get sucked into, I literally binged all the available chapters when I first started reading. The mc is so lovable. He's intelligent, cool, and not a pushover. The ml seems like a typical domineering emperor but actually he's very doting and has complicated feelings toward the mc because of his past (no spoilers but ughh the angst is mwah). The chemistry between the mc and ml is really great. It's like a power couple + bantering dynamic. All in all, the plot, characters, and the world building hits the spot.
