It’s implied here but in Chinese it does go on to speak of location significance/bond/order but here it signifies her choice in the matter expressing she loves him most. Muir, she’s eager to have his children after learning that Curtis is not opposed, because she resolved to give each a child/litter before abstaining to not have future pregnancies. Notice it’s Curtis who ends up marrying her first, it’s their daughter they both long for, he is first to be invited into their home and accepted by her family and still has the strongest connection in the sequel Objectively, she didn’t outright accept the wooing of any of them initially because circumstance had other ideas. But objectively still, Curtis is her strongest suit; even the trophy count is in his favor

None of them are inherently bad, despite their actions at times being beyond quite questionable. But they learn and adapt. You don’t get to see here Curtis’ memories of his father or his father’s regard for his mother. And Muir, for an already quiet guy, mellows out quite a bit as well. No family is perfect, even in fiction
