Okay, so I was thinking of making the Ruyi Jingu Bang “sealed” at first—its functions would be limited to minor size changing and weight increasing. I thought about having it scale with each level he gains, but that might conflict with some things I want to do later. Instead, I could make it so the restrictions are lifted once he receives his falna, and at that point, he’d fully obtain Ruyi. The only thing stopping him from using it to its full potential would be his physical strength. For example, once he gets his falna, he could technically make Ruyi the size of a planet and kill everyone—including himself—since there’s no way he’d survive that(for now).Or he could point it at someone and extend it at high speed like a launcher. That said, I’m also considering limiting how fast he can grow or extend it, just to avoid breaking things too quickly. What do you guys think so far? Too OP? Balanced enough? Would love feedback.

No I haven’t dropped the story. My medical leave has expired so I’m back to schooling at the moment so I’ve been drained sadly. I’ll be picking the story back up since I’ve learned a few new things. Thank you for reading 😔

That is true! But, considering he’ll be traveling the multiverse once he finishes with Danmachi I’m debating on if he should make his own or not

(Spoiler is contained in this at the very bottom) I’ve been thinking on that and I’ve been debating in the recent chapters I’ve written on if the MC should either learn how to make his own falna or simply just join a goddess So far Heph or Loki are my picks at the moment and for him making his own falna it would either be the nanite having MC absorbing a human with a falna + a god or simply having him carve the falna off of someone else’s back and having the Nanite assimilate it so that it can run of its own energy or an outside source 🙃. But yeah, don’t worry if he does end up getting a falna for a god they WILL see some of mcs skills, race, and potentially a title (just to be fancy I guess) And also since I believe animals in danmachi don’t give excelia or anything once he gets a falna it will be based on his strength on when he first arrived in Danmachi. Meaning the gods and anyone else will see him as a Level 1 adventure with E500 in all stats meaning that despite him having the strength of a level 4-5 he is still technically a level 1 meaning once he does use a falna his strength will be further boosted. I don’t know if I explained that good enough or not but I tried 🙃 Tl;dr Mc is practically a living loophole in the Danmachi world

Indeed! The MC when he first arrives could be compared to a somewhat average level 1 and he hasn’t gotten a Falna yet and I’m still debating on if he will get one
