Then— He burst out laughing. “Golden finger?” He wiped a tear from the corner of his eye. “Pfftt…” He laughed harder, shoulders shaking. “Golden finger, you say?” He shook his head. “Sorry to disappoint you.” He looked at them, grin widening. “Unlike you all, what I received wasn’t any golden finger.” He paused a bit and then mumbled. “…It was a big, shiny golden middle finger but it's okay." "I broke it off drilled into the person responsible for all this." An absolute, soul-crushing silence followed. Then— “WHAAT THE HEEELLLLL DID YOU JUST SAY?!” And she wasn't alone who screamed.
