I must say the first 150 chapters were good, the characters were great and having them like actually die was surprising as usually protagonists save them with something, him accepting his immortality was refreshing, the translation was pretty decent, and the time-skips helped illustrate his immortality. But after that…yikes, the story gets…repetitive, i mean different locations and all, yeah he moves around from time to time. But the characters took a nosedive, like the enemies are like xianxia antagonists, acting cocky as all hell, after they fail to attack the mc, they always do this stupid, repetitive joke like ‘oh, i’m sorry, it was an accident’, like what?!? It does a complete 180 on their personality and it happens again and again like…god damn where did their spine go? Also is it only me to find it strange that the old murloc does the same-thing as the previous antagonists!? Do they all speak the same language because of the past mages? Translation after the aforementioned first 150 chapters was bad, typical Chinese translation, ruins the immersion…badly and names changing from blood alliance then to alliance of the blood, changing from one another, did the translator change? Really, i hope they get their stuff together, i am so sad seeing the story worsen as time goes on…like the start was good but it feels like the author lost passion after the Empire arc

LoudGryphon: An overall great story with excellent world building and character development, its an amazing ride going through this story with its own unique characteristics that separates itself from other pokemon fanfics. I have read through some great pokemon stories and I’ve only seen the potential of pokemon being done in one other story, though quite different in their own right. Though i was surprised by the early romance, i am happy with how it is turning out, was just surprised by how early the partner was decided. Pretty great fights and so on, basically pretty good stuff. Only real complaint is the 6 months hiatus, but its a fanfic so eh, whateva, i knew what the risks were of reading great fanfiction. Im happy your back, was pretty sad when i read through your story and saw that you haven’t updated for months.

I just want to add : This is Major major nitpicking, because for a 1000+ chapter long story , there are bound to be plot holes, this is just me trying to find really really small flaws and not looking at the major parts of the story like pacing, world building and all so…yeah, i wanted to add my perspective on things and wanted to make some constructive criticism but maybe i just made a review on really minor things that don’t matter in the grand scheme of things and maybe it’s just a dumb review. Ps: Also i may have made a mistake with the skill duration, because fights in pandemonium are much longer than in common MMORPG’s, like boss fights are usually considered long if its about 15 minutes but in pandemonium bosses can be fought for like days so i have incorrectly compared the durations for skills so yea……also pandemonium is virtual reality so also another mistake on my part comparing the two as in skills and spells are everything in common MMORPG’s but in virtual reality you probably could do a lot more. Also why the hell am i writing such a long review, it’s just a novel bruh, it’s like I’m writing a game review XDDDD (maybe it’s for realism’s sake but it is virtual reality so eh whateva)

I want to talk about some strange parts in the story that i think would need to be addressed : In chapter 903 there is a paragraph that i think should be removed which is “ In fact, it was not originally designed this way, but Adrian with a Genesis Dragon is already too dangerous when it comes to balance. He was also crossing the threshold of the necessary life energy as well which is why they needed to de-power him a little. If he became an arch demon after acquiring a Genesis Dragon, then he will steam roll over the current dungeons at this rate”.I have to ask why write this paragraph at all, does it mean that it nerfs players that get too powerful because of their own efforts? That just makes the highest leveled players restricted because of that and it isn’t fair for them. Does that mean Eldritch gets nerfed because he is more powerful than Equinox? Even if it is a reason to extend the length of the story which i am glad about, i do think that nerfing the character for such a reason is a bit…unfair. Also in chapter 1072 there is a skill called Cleansing Palm which has the effect of making the target unable to use their skills and spells for 5 minutes , i have to say that skill is way too powerful even if it has restrictions but for it to work on Eldritch who has divinity, has resistance, artifacts and is instant is really unbalanced, it maybe more believable to make it work for maybe half a minute but disabling anyones skills and spells even their revival skills and spells for 5 minutes just doom’s them.Even if it cant be used on NPC’s or in direct combat, it is an op godly assassination skill that anyone gets hit by is straight up gone. There may be more examples but i have forgotten them or have not reached them, or maybe my points get debunked later on in the story, i may be wrong even and i probably have missed something or misinterpreted it so just take this as a rant from an idiot lol, so eh whateva. This is just nitpicking for a story this long and the story is really great and i find the characters are made well with some arcs focusing on them instead of the MC which i find nice.
