I REALLY don't want Jiang Yanzhou to be the ML for Lu Yang...also, what is this cliche with the lights going out...is China's electrical system that bad?

I understand where Ji Jing is coming from...before her blood family found her she accepted that she may never find them and that maybe they didn't even want to...and then when they were reunited they treated her like the enemy...just because someone apologizes doesn't mean you have to accept it or give that perpetrator a fresh start with you. Their sad backstory is supposed to justify their previous actions towards her? No, because she is a victim of that backstory and then some.
Totally understandable why she would be disgusted when a person you grew up with in your own family, who you thought of as a real brother, makes advances on you...what I don't understand is why she decides to give him a chance...if they were actually blood related...would she still have given him a chance? ewwww....just thinking about it is grossing me out...
I'm starting to get annoyed where just because Bo Yi is her arranged fiancee, she has to accept it...that his pushy and selfish behavior is actually wanted, and that all of her personal achievements seemed to be undermined just because they assume Bo Yi is her support...these cliche tropes seem to be demeaning to a female character who struggled and achieved to get where she is...and I'm going to assume later in the story that this guy is going to come in as her knight on a white horse to save the day...
...Bo Yi is such a hindrance....
