Small footsteps approached the room, sounding almost like little hops, before a small girl, not more than five years old, entered the Mother Queen's chamber. She wore a pink dress, which resembled the very flowers that she now clutched in her hand. Her hair was as brown as her mother's, and her eyes shone with the same shade of green as the forest. There were smudges of mud on her dress, which indicated to those in the room that she had been keeping herself busy since they had last seen her.

"Word has it that you had the habit of removing the organs of earthlings. Let us see how you feel about it when the same is done to you," Dante remarked, bringing the scorching iron rod close to Logan's mouth. Logan screamed in protest as Dante forcefully shoved the rod into his mouth, which Logan swallowed whole.

Celeste's body froze, as if Aiden's question had turned her into a statue. "We can visit both realms," she replied quietly.

"This is for thinking you could have her," Raylen said as he continued to rain punches down upon him. "This is for hurting her when she did nothing to you. Do you know the pain she endured while you completed bonding with Layla? She swallowed that pain in silence, every agonising bit of it." The onslaught of punches continued to fall like a relentless downpour.

Nathaniel gritted his teeth as the pain in his chest intensified. He said in a low voice, "If my soulmate isn't alive, then neither can anyone else's…"

Raylen caught Nathaniel's enraged fist, yanking it forward and delivering a headbutt with enough force to leave the latter staggering, struggling to regain his balance. Taking the opportunity, Raylen turned and unleashed a forceful kick directly into the Archdemon's stomach, sending him flying into the air.

Nathaniel raised his hands before placing them on the ground, and suddenly, the tower erupted as if struck by an earthquake. This violent upheaval also shattered the ice dome surrounding Emily. As the ground crumbled and gave way, sliding precariously, Raylen swiftly swooped in with his wings outstretched, reaching Emily just in time to prevent her from slipping into a searing pool of molten lava that had opened up below them before he carefully placed her in a secure location.

"Emily's soul belongs to me! It was destined for me, and I will use it how I see fit!" Nathaniel declared, only to receive a forceful punch squarely to his face in response.

Nathaniel recovered from the shock of witnessing Emily shatter into fragments of ice, only to see her whole again a moment later. He inquired, "Crossed the line? I believe that's what you are doing, coming between Emily's and my union."

Emily swiftly turned, her eyes widening in shock upon seeing Julia standing before her, her face melting away to reveal Logan's.

Taken aback by his bold action, Emily's mind went blank. She felt the soft, warm touch of his lips brush against her skin, leaving behind the sensation of unspoken whispers of things unsaid and undone. Her chest tickled, and her stomach fluttered. He pulled away and remarked, "You know, for good dreams. Goodnight, my Princess."

"You are dismissed," Raylen stated, and he proceeded to walk past the woman. Gloria's mouth hung open in astonishment, and her face displayed a clear expression of shock.

"You don't need my help when Prince Charming is here. Also, I don't believe you would appreciate my teaching methods, Princess," Raylen quipped, offering her a crooked smile. He continued, "Why don't you enjoy your company and get better soon? Because I am looking forward to that repayment for you opening the portal," and then stepped out of the room.
