I feel like it's more like the souls are in constant battle for supremacy because danzo's soul which would be the strongest, is severly weakend due to the izangi and failed izangi attempt. It's either that or Danzo is planing and scheming a big brain play

It doesn't get that far, I'm not going to spoil you too much but Donzo definitely does end up with 5 different bloodline abilities plus "almost" a Rennigan. Senrigan isn't real lol

This is a god ritual, what do you expect? A fusion between 5 chakra natures plus yin and yang should make any character really overwhelmingly powerful. It's a little hard to imagine Donzo of all characters achieving this level of strength but it is what it is, Donzo is getting his glow up. If it makes you feel any better, he still ends up dying. The other villains aren't really that much stronger compared to their cannon counterparts besides Obito and Nagato. Everyone else is relatively the same, matter of fact the only characters who managed to get overwhelmingly stronger at this point of the story is Itachi and Shisui. Both got hashirama cells and Shisui even got sage mode. These guys could probably solo the Canon Akatsuki including Nagato

Karin did have crazy potential in the Canon, she managed to push back a amped twirly who stole Yamato body who was previously stalemating the entire Shinobi alliance. It's kinda unfortunate we didn't see her breakout her shell during Naruto Shippuden. Now she's old and irrelevant in Boruto. I'm interested in seeing how different she'll end up in this fan story compared to the cannon version

Sounds a little like the fire clone's mangekyo ability. The technique sounds like it would complement it's ability if The mc decides it's worth it

The main clan members of the otsusuki clan on the moon probably realized the effect a weapon like that can have on people and probably hidden it away just in case. The bird seal was probably a added design to the second giant tensigan. A weapon like that constantly needs chakra to be functional. The bird seal originally probably worked as an energy drainer of sorts where the energy was supplied to this giant tensigan. It most likely further modified so that the branch members can never betray the main clan like what happened on the moon. Then boom, now you have the modern day cage bird seal. With the passage of time and the dwindling population of hyugas who were aware of what happened, led to the hyugas forgetting the existence of this weapon.

It is weird that they just "lost" their greatest weapon but, as it was said in the chapter, it was perhaps deliberately hidden away due to the events that transpired on the moon. In the chapter it was describing what could have happened that lead to the circumstances in the Canon. The Mc went on to hypothesize that all the main members of the otsusuki clan didn't all die due to the war. some probably did survive and those main clan members escaped to the Shinobi world. As they were the main clan members then the method to create a second "giant" tensigan would most likely be in their hands. The MC further hypothesized that the escaped main clan members and the hyugas decided to come together to protect themselves from the radical branch otsusuki clan members. With the method of creating a second giant tensigan in the escaped main clan member's hands and the Byakugan eyes of the hyugas to power a new giant tensigan, they could better protect themselves from branch otsusuki clan on the moon. The seals on the branch hyuga clan members and a hypothetical giant tensigan could be related to each other because it was the only seal in the entirety of the show that could never be broken. Even the jinjuriki seals were broken at one point or another. That seal is incredibly overpowered and your suggestion doesn't hold up to the absurdity of it.

No it's not. Your suggestion sounds boring and lazy. A second "giant" tensigan being hidden in the Shinobi world sounds way cooler. The exposition, even though it's head canon, also explains why the hyugas were much weaker in the Canon compared to the other descendents of kaguya. Tbh It doesn't make sense that the descendants of the strongest being in the world are looked down upon by fodder normal humans. Unless there was something surprising the development and potential of the hyugas. The existence of a second giant tensigan perfectly explains it because it happened on the moon already

It actually makes complete sense, are we reading the same thing?? Why are you interpreting it wrong? The mc stated HIMSELF that Nagato is stronger then him. It doesn't matter what everyone else thinks as he knows himself that if he didn't have the help of the giant tenseigan on the moon, he would have been mid diffed. Madara is also still the big villain of the story so it makes complete sense to use him as a excuse to delay attacking the Akatsuki organization as "one of the factors to consider". Really he just needs more time to figure out how to combine his chakra cloak mode with his sage mode and he would be chilling against Nagato. He also needs time to further progress on his research on the chimera jutsu. You need to stop being so nit picky and just read this peak fiction
