In all David could create everything and anything with his nanomachines, but he would need to asorb more metals, cyberware, and other sources of materials that would in turn feed his nanomachines. Basically what David needed to do was legit chrome himself the fuck up. Either by killing other cyberware users or just absorbing any metals in his path with his nanobots.

Firstly, the main character needs a real base before he gets anymore 'visitors', perhaps a modified Horizon Zero Dawn cauldron! Secondly, he needs real weapons and armor, perhaps a set of medium stealth armor and silenced weaponry, that way he would be able to actually fight back against the RDA's armored vehicles! Thirdly, he needs a better background, in-case someone asks where he came from and how he is able to breath Pandora's atmosphere. For example, he could say that he was a lab grown human from a small unheard company (Horizon) that the RDA silently 'removed' all because they saw this company as a threat to their income all because this company wanted to use AI (GAIA) to try and fix Earth's dying environment!
