As I was wondering on how to dig out information on Hiwari and Nishikawa's current relationship, the teacher started the next phase. Choosing the "Class Reps". This title is more or less equivalent to the title of the saint in an RPG. The two people who hold this title have the power to move the general opinion of the common-folk easily. They are the ones who get direct commands from the teacher, and they can do anything in order to complete those tasks. Anything obstructing their path is obliterated. However, since this title is relatively easier to obtain than the unique titles there is a disadvantage as well. The holder of this title does not have much power when not following orders. Because of this few people are willing to take this role.

This is an interesting case. If you think about it they have a parasocial relationship with him, since they can hear his thoughts unidirectionally. You can think of it the same way someone can develop feelings for a streamer while the streamer is oblivious to them.Though I will say, this by far is not the best romance, but then again this is a harem novel. There's only so much romance you can get from a harem novel and that's usually inversionally proportional to the size of the harem.

Which already makes you a completely different person. A human being is their genes(settings) plus the sum of all their experiences, those include their thoughts. If they didn't have the ability to think before and they have now, they are basically completely different people now.
There is one thing that I have come to realize about our nature. Even though I am free from the system, I behave similarly to my character settings. My newfound sentience is not giving me anything new to my personality. On the contrary, it gives me the ability to think for myself, and that is it.

Your logic is flawed. Rachel never did anything wrong here past versions did, but those weren't the current Rachel. It's no different than someone coming from the future or an alternate universe to kill you for something you never did just because you could do it in the future. It's plain unfair.You can not judge someone for what they could do. You can only judge what they have done.
