I don't see what the principal could possibly inquire about.

Mr. Hughes was heading towards Ms. Fletcher's classroom, to see if David had been allowed in by his teacher, since she hadn't been officially notified that he would stay in her class until the end of the term. When he turned right, entering the hallway where Ms. Fletcher's classroom was located, he saw her and David embracing each other, which made him frown; but he decided he'd inquire her about it later on, and approached them.

Buying a cage and locking Otto up for a few hours would totally solve the problem! LOL

David didn't know if her coming over to his parents' would be such a good idea, since Otto would be there. He didn't want his older brother anywhere near Ms. Fletcher. She noticed he was unsure.
