Yating is more like him than I’d realized. He was such an open and loving man before. Oh the irony of him talking to her about communication…Now I’m wondering if he killed her or if she committed suicide. PPD is a serious disease, and usually a husband should help her, but with everything else, I wouldn’t blame him if he didn’t. Does she have family who can support her? I kind of expected the reveal that he wasn’t Yating’s biological father, but an affair with a coworker just seems so mundane. I don’t get it. Was she secretly the gold digger his father warned him about? That’s disappointing but does explain his current paranoia. When she was glazed over I thought maybe she had PPD or something, but strangling him just looks like attempted murder. Was she making him sick too? And is he really not Yating’s dad - like did they confirm with a dna test? After being betrayed by the person he loved and gave up everything for, it’s extra sad that his second wife was such a despicable person.
