rereading, makes me sad at the missed opportunity of them mending at least past indifference up to this point in the story. Trion was/is a young immature kid that grew up and idealized Meln. Lith was an adult that could/should have seen that and pushed a conversation.
Were Lith felt only spite for Orpal, Trion didn't fare much better, receiving his complete indifference. Their relationship had never mended, since both of them had never tried to solve their differences.
